As we wrap up our first weekend back in action since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we, as a staff, have a number of ‘thank you’s’ to hand out to our local community.
First, we want to extend our most heartfelt thank you to Chicken Express, Burger Mojo, and Blaze Pizza for their incredibly kind donations over the weekend. Together, these amazing partners provided event staff over 350 meals! Our community is built on partnerships, and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without these relationships. So thank you, again for your generosity and gracious hospitality.
We’re proud that last weekend’s Texas State Softball Championships brought in 2800 room nights! For that, we also want to thank our hotel partners, who welcomed our guests that were in town for the tournament by extending their warm, Texas hospitality and provided unmatched cleanliness. Its safe to say they helped make the out-of-towner’s feel at home and at ease here in BCS.
We want to thank our community, too! We’re confident that wherever these folks ventured around BCS, they were met with the friendliness that defines Bryan and College Station. We hope that all of our local restaurants, attractions, and shops were stimulated by the influx of people in town.
We want to thank our Parks and Recreation partners in both Bryan and College Station for making sure all of the facilities were cleaned, the fields playable, and our guests and event organizers welcomed. We’re proud to work alongside you.
And finally, we want to thank the attendees themselves. Your cooperation with our COVID-19 guidelines will help to ensure that we can continue hosting events. Your presence in our community was felt in a positive manner, and we hope you’ll visit BCS again soon!
